Hotel Restaurant Schiff

This hotel is gorgeous! It has real character and charm and feels quintessentially German, especially as it is above the family-run restaurant. We were in room 3 and it was massive! We had a massive double bed and sofa with a small balcony. I think this also had a sofa bed which would mean you could easilly get 3-4 people int he room. The shower was quite small for the size of the room, but perfectly adquate for us. The curtains don't cover the entirety of the windows, but there are powered blinds on the outside if required. The room has aircon if needed, but the ventilation unit is on the balcony, so be aware of that. Definitely recommend if you're visiting Europa Park & the restuarant was lovely - really lovely staff, service and food!

We loved that this is a family-owned hotel and restaurant. The owners and staff were very warm and friendly which made us feel welcome. The traditional European breakfast (which was included) was tasty and substantive - you could choose from fried or scrambled eggs, and there was a large buffet of cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh pastries and breads, vegetables, yogurt, tea/coffee and fruit. Our room was spotless and I loved the extra touches - like the free bottled water, toiletries, and coffee, hot chocolate and tea in the room. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Germany! We loved it!
