Sporthotel Schönblick

Weekend by the lake with the family.

The front-desk clerk couldn't find our reservation upon check-in, so we had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to arrive. He was finally able to locate the reservation, but upon check-out we were charged again even though the room was pre-paid. The hotel is in a wonderful location (10 minute walk to downtown, 15 minutes walk to ferry). Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel guests and neighborhood are very quiet, with sheep right next door and a beautiful overlook at the top of a vineyard right up the hill. Lots of amenities at the hotel (great breakfast, heated outdoor pool, bikes for rent including for children, ping pong table, full gym, sauna etc.). It was a wonderful stay and we would like to return again, despite the reservation issues at check-in and check-out.
