The setting for the resort is absolutely stunning. We were engaged there 20 years ago and returned to celebrate our 20-year anniversary and could not be more pleased with our return visit with our 14-year-old daughter. The resort is even better than before. The accommodations and grounds are impeccable. What makes the resort so amazing is the staff that makes you feel like family as soon as you step off the boat from the airport. There is plenty to do there or you can do nothing at all but sip a cool drink and enjoy the unparalleled scenery. We can't wait to go back!

We stays at this hotel for 11 days/10 nights, 2 kids, 2 adults. The nature around this property and in this property simply the best heads down. It is the most beautiful place I've been to.
We went to Le Taha'a last year and I can say the same about Le Taha'a as well. When we were coming to Le Bora Bora we were very excited that we could explore this little island, especially because it looked bigger than Le Taha'a.
Turns out that Hotel's territory is relatively small, and it is mostly fenced, or marked "Private property" around it. The thing is that locals live on this island. I don't mind locals as all and I really have good relationship with those who I met, it was just a little frustrating that we can't safely walk around and explore and were stuck on a single beach that the hotel had (thus -1 star in this review). We end up booking several activities and that helped at lot.
During our stay, we were not cautious enough and my wife left earrings on a vanity table before going to dinner. When we came back 1.5 hour later, the earrings were gone. We reported it to management but earrings were not found by the end of our stay. One of managers came and talked to us and said that they are working on looking earring up but haven't found them. They did reimburse us the shuttle fees(~160$ for 4). But it is still less then they cost. I find it very unlikely that these earring were gone "by mistake"
and someone didn't know what they were doing(thus -1 star in this review).

The property was updated from the last time we were there and it’s great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mao was particularly nice and helpful and made the stay even better. My kids were happy and enjoyed our stay.

I know this resort is a 4 star ⭐️, but you get 5 ⭐️ service. The staff go out of their way to make you feel like royalty. The resort itself is beyond gorgeous. The location, what more could you ask for. I plan to come back and bring my kids next time. Please don’t overlook this resort. Maururu Rua

This was a great place to stay! It is very expensive, but that's to be expected in the location. The resort is beautiful and has unique accommodations. We had a couple maintenance issues in our room and the day room could use an update but overall this spot was great! Couples were the primary visitors but some families present as well.

This was our honeymoon trip to Bora Bora (and our first time in French Polynesia). If you're a young couple splurging for your honeymoon, this review is for you.
First off, the island is small; very few people stay on the main island, most vacationers stay in the resorts around the island. It seemed like the "brand names" were St. Regis and Four Seasons, but we loved our time at Le Bora Bora. The pool overwater bungalow had fantastic views of the mountain, the restaurants on site were amazing, the staff was friendly, and the concierges helped us set up a ton of incredible excursions. I noticed that the excursions were shared with other hotels; we never ran into any Four Seasons folks, but were on boats with other couples/families from St. Regis, Intercontinental, Conrad, and more. In other words - we found this place because we could afford the pool overwater bungalow compared to other hotels; it was entirely worth it in our opinion. The hotel was primarily French/Italian guests when we arrived (mid August) but had become more American by the time we left.
Food: there are four restaurants on property; one is the main buffet, one is a barbecue-type restaurant that also doubles as the lunch pool restaurant, one is a smaller wine bar with sushi options, and one is a fancy tasting-menu-only-and-very-expensive option. All worked great for us; we tried them all out during our week there.
All in all, we loved our stay and would go again.

A truly fantastic experience! The resort views were breathtaking, the dining options were great, and the staff could not be more accommodating. We were greeted with friendly smiles and truly felt welcomed. Definitely I recommend this all my friends and family. You will not regret staying in this property.
