Novotel Avignon Centre

We had two stays here within a few days. The property is nice but I would say it didn’t seem there seems to be a person I charge. Everywhere we ran into problems — from checkin, to quality of room ( first room had no ac or soaps and despite us complaining it took 3 hours to rectify). The restaurant manager on night shift was rude and wouldn’t let us sit with our kids at 9:45 pm in the lobby area ( despite us getting permission from the hotel reception). Even though checkout is at noon, we had cleaning crews constantly knocking on our doors starting at 11 am and expressed annoyance that we haven’t left yet. Talking to the front desk it appeared we shouldn’t have experienced any of this but of course the hotel doesn’t seem to have a manager who can help solve these issues. We felt employees were doing what they could with very little supervision or coordination from anyone. It was a terrible experience considering it is a Novotel and we wouldn’t recommend this place to others with family( maybe okay if you are single in business)

Great location. Very nice, modern and updated hotel. Clean and comfortable. Excellent pool, kids enjoyed their swim time. Breakfast was included. Huge variety, fresh fruit and vegetables. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very well situated in city centre, friendly service, clean and practical rooms. Refreshing pool is a great extra, particularly wirh children!

Nice, modern hotel. But unacceptable noise at night due to a party. We are a family and got a room with view to the pool where the party took place. Impossible to sleep there, so we had to move to another room. No social distancing during the party, people didn’t wear masks there. Thus, not acceptable for an international hotel chain. The room itself was ok. A bit dusty, but modern and spacious.
