ibis Styles Avignon Sud

I had reserved 2 rooms, we checked in, I took the 2 cards, and gave one to my daughters. My daughters went to the room and found it was occupied with clothes on the floor! My little daughter came back scared to see that they had given us a room with people already inside. She was scared to think that someone could have entered her room while they were inside. Afterwards, we asked for a new room, they gave us a new card, with few apologies. The surprise now was that the new room was over 30ºC and its air conditioning did not work. It was a 34ºC day in Avignon. The receptionist told me that she did not have any more rooms but she did have a portable device to solve it... and, she just gave me a small fan! Also, the room had used towels with lipstick on them...disgusting. The next day, I asked to speak to the hotel manager, but he didn't show up. All they offered me was to give me €25 back, I said no. I really feel helpless. I don't go on vacation with the family to sleep in a hellish room and be treated this way. I had to come here because Avignon was full due to the theater festival but, I will never choose this hotel chain again. That's clear.

Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities to entertain the kids. Great breakfast and good restaurant.

Bad experience at the check in, booked for my family to stay in , the staff did not allow me to accompany them to the room, although I was not going to stay, simply to help them with the stuff, a part from this, my credit card was charged twice means double the amount as the staff claimed the first machine is not working since it did not print the receipt although I told her that sometimes the machines do not print, she insisted and charged my credit card using another machine, also the room was not as expected. I will never book again. Over priced for no services except for the good parking.

There was clean and comfortable. Good place for family staying.

We stayed in our way to the south. Great family friendly restaurant and great value. Only downside is no tea or coffee in room, which in the Covid world is a mistake

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us! We already know the good Ibis Styles "style", but this one surprised us in several aspects: from the welcome to the infrastructure. We traveled with two small kids (5 and 2) and soon after they were presented with a "welcome kit" for children: a small bag with toys, crayons and cards for them to play. They also have a kids corner, with books, games and other things. Fantastic! This hotel has been recently renovated, so everything looked and smelled new and the room was good, very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was included in the price and it was amazing! Lots of options for fresh food and drinks (the fresh squeezed orange juice is a must!). There is also a steakhouse colocated with the hotel (La Boucherie), which also offers good food options at reasonable prices. The staff were very attentive and accomodated very well on all requests.

Staff is super friendly. The kids enjoyed the table soccer and the books provided in the lobby. The room was a bit tight since instead of 2 double beds it was a bed and pull out.
