Golden Tulip Aix en Provence

The hotel room was generous and well equipped. The public rooms are open plan and very well arranged. A pleasant place to chill out. The pool is rather small. A very nice area to relax, albeit busy in the summer. A small but pleasant terrace with umbrellas to relax. We did not have breakfast at €19 per person which is very expensive. The food we had in the evening was exceptionally good. Highly recommended. Used the gym, small but with decent machines. Running, cross fit and cycling. At first location was a bit of a concern being close to the motorway junction, but a gentle flat 20 minute walk to town or 5 minute bus ride. We travelled extensively in the area, so actually the proximity to major roads was handy. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Suggestions: time slots for the pool to prevent overcrowding. Highly recommended. Decent well equipped modern hotel, more geared for business people or couples than a family.
