Hôtel Golf Château de la Bégude, The Originals Collection

We booked a junior family suite with a golf course view and got a room with views over the car park. The room was ok, spacious, the bed is very hard and the pillows are uncomfortable. The hotel is not very baby friendly as there are stairs to the room and also up to the pool too. Wifi only works in the restaurant, I didn't have service in the room or by the pool. The restaurant staff is very rude and the standard of service is not what you'd expect when you're spending £200 a night. There's no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast is charged at 20 euros per head (for fresh bread and ham) The room was 'cleaned' once a day, but cleaning only means tucking the bedsheets in. We had cobwebs and rubbish left behind our door. We used the glasses provided for the minibar, but they didn't get cleaned. Over all we felt like we didn't get the service and the value we expected for our money.
