Hotel Padoue

Prior to our arrival the Family I had booked was damaged by a water leak. Which I fully understand that things like this happen. However we only find out when we come to check in that there are no more family rooms and we now have 2 separate rooms, albeit next door to each other. We were told when checking in that someone should have called us. The only communication I received from the hotel was the standard email sent by most hotels prior to a visit. Whilst having 2 separate rooms would be a problem for most family, it is for us when the children are aged 6 & 8, and the 6 year old is deaf. I put our case to the receptionist who could only offer us a free soft drink by way of compensation. I appreciate things happen that are out of the hotels control. But not communicating is within the control of the hotel. Had they called or emailed I could have made them aware of our situation and better arrangements could have been made. In the end my wife shared with one child and I shared with the other. Not great when spending 3 nights and having to go back and forth between rooms.

We stayed in a 5 bed /2 bath room which was perfect for our family. It was clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to all Lourdes has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great stay for us! As a family of 5 it is difficult to find one room that will fit our needs. I loved that this hotel offered a family room option! And the location to walk to the grotto and sanctuary is super close! Highly recommend!

Very central location. Less than five minutes walk to the Basilica. Only stayed for one night with my family in a duplex room for 4. The room was very nice with two bathrooms which was a plus. The white noice from the air conditioner or the extractor fan was quite loud at night when you hit the bed. So that is one thing to improve on!.:) Anyway it was a pleasant stay and all staff were very nice, and they even arranged the airport pickup for us. Will stay here again.

Hotel Padoue, Overall a good standard, very central to domain, I have been a few times now, friends and family have also enjoyed there vacation and would return
