ibis Styles Rouen Val De Reuil

We stayed in a family room (double bed and pull out bed for our daughter) which was small but functional and clean. There was a tv, kettle, hairdryer, shower but no bath. The hotel is located right next to junction 19 of the A13 which was handy but our sat nav struggled to locate the street. Head for McDonalds and you can't miss it. The hotel had no smoking signs up in it but there was a fairly strong smell of smoke - perhaps on fabrics from a time when smoking was permitted inside but I also wonder whether some occupants don't pay any attention to the signs. It may bother some people with allergies or asthma. There were three restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. We tried the grill place. The service was dreadfully slow - too few staff - and the food was nothing special. The McDonalds across the road which may be a quicker, more familiar option. We had breakfast in the hotel which was quite pricey for what was on offer. It was ok. Again I think McDonalds would suit some better. I'd use this chain of hotels again.
