The property has very very small rooms. The bathrooms are extremely small. The elevator is very claustrophobic. None of the rooms have hotel-like connected doors and hence not good for people with families booking multiple rooms. In our case we found that A.C. were not working and we could not sleep properly. Wem opened the window for fresh air and found the street to ve very loud till 4AM. The good part is the nearness to very good restaurants but will not book again.

Room was spacious which was nice and there was a sauna that we used. However, we had to “shower” in the bathtub due to the actual shower and drain being clogged and overflowing. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and moldy. Our courtyard doors would not lock which was nerve racking traveling with a child. At check in, we were told by the hotel staff that we were able to help ourselves to waters, drinks and snacks in the lobby, to treat it like our own kitchen and that it was complimentary. Over the course of 3 days, we had a few waters, cokes and chips. Seemed to be no issue. After leaving and flying home, we were called and emailed by the hotel repeatedly that we owed them more money for the snacks we were told were free. I asked why we would be charged for something they said was free, and they tried to tell us we grabbed drinks from the wrong area and that those weren’t free. Also note there is no signage with prices. Not cool at all to do that to travelers, especially when the accommodations aren’t that of what we paid for. They were not helpful when I complained about the charges and said we’re not welcome back. No problem for me since I would never stay there again. I have had very few poor experiences with hotels all over, and was surprised by the lack of clear communication and they are obviously ripping people off little by little. Beware when booking this hotel.

Pros - Location! Great neighbourhood that Is just off the beaten path enough to give you access to authentic experiences and a little quiet if you need it Staff - friendly and helpful if you ask! Clean and fresh! Hot water when you need it, air conditioning that is effective and moves air, great little fridge with complementary water, comfortable bed. Things to know: A double room is close quarters for one person. If you are someone who is looking to chill out in your hotel room with your travel mates, consider the largest of room categories or another hotel. It was small. There is no closet in a double room... three hangers and one drawer. If you travel heavy... find another place to stay. Elevator is efficient and fairly quick... but, tiny. If you’re a family travelling, You’ll want to take the zone approach - 1 kid, 1 parent kind of thing. You need to ask... when I arrived I was handed a key and told my room number. I’m a fairly seasoned traveller and know Parks well enough... so was ok with that. There wasn’t a lot of hand holding or introduction to things. That said, I found i need only ask and the staff were incredibly helpful/responsive to my questions and needs.
