Hotel Eden Opéra

We stayed with a family of 5. We did not like our stay and wanted to change . Staff were so friendly to accommodate our full refund request and allowed us to change for a better and of course more expensive hotel . Location is perfect . Good amenities.

Hotel is within walking distance of all the major sites and metro system. The hotel staff were all excellent from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, a special thanks to Enzo for providing excellent concierge service as well as to Sonia and Nicolas for their assistance. Definitely would return to this hotel and would recommend it to friends and family.

My stay at Eden Opera was lovely. Room was cozy and fresh. Bed was a little little too hard for my taste, but after hours and hours of walking I still slept like a baby. Area felt safe to stay in. I missed a fridge in the room. Staff super friendly and helped out with whatever you needed.

We stayed for 2 nights and are a Chinese couple. When we arrived, a staff I shall not name checked us in. He was unfriendly towards us. Due to the situation in Paris, we asked for advice and he brushed off our question, using a condescending tone and saying he could not help us. We felt unwelcomed and unassured of our safety by staying there. We chose not to think too much of it and went to put our things in the room which was roomy and clean. When we left for dinner, the same staff was helping a Caucasian family. He was very friendly and helpful, a total opposite of how he was with us earlier. At night, we had interrupted rest due to the knocks and footsteps we could hear, probably due to the thin walls. During our stay, we met many other helpful staff who were kind and helpful towards us which made us forget the episode on our first day. Fast forward to the day of check out, as luck would have it, the same staff that checked us in was at the front desk. We asked him to book a taxi for us while we stood and waited with our luggage. We were clearly waiting for him to confirm that he had booked the taxi but he did not get back to us and continued to work on the computer, as if we were not there. When asked if it had been booked, he replied curtly that it had been. We left the hotel feeling disappointed and wished we had booked another hotel in Paris. We felt discriminated against and for this reason, would not recommend this place to our friends.
