We stayed for nine nights in total, with a combination of a double room and a family room through the Olympics. The hotel was busy, but the team (led by Phuong) were always on hand to make us comfortable and accommodate our changing needs. Char and Heidi on the frontdesk were great for information and so friendly rhat my son stopped to chat to them every time we passed the desk. It has a great location, serviced by so many Metro stations and lines; making geting around all kf Paris quick and easy. It is walking distance to lots of touriste sites and parks, meaning that you really can enjoy Paris for all that it offers rather than being tied to one part. I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you want great 3 star accommodation. The ability to use the other Astotel facilities as a coffee stop when travelling across Paris was a hidden bonus and so useful!

The elevator and corridor is quite cramp. You have to do everything yourself and there was one time when it was quite hot and humid in Paris and the front desk said that they have turned the heater on for the day and there's no air-conditioning. I mean... what the H...?! I was with a young child who was already cranky from the heat. Even if you open the window, there's no wind or cold air. I can't understand why they can't turn on the air-conditioning. They do not provide long term luggage storage as well even if you'll be back to the same hotel after a few days. It's a poor hotel and I won't ever stay in an Astotel again.
