This hotel? It's awesome! Right the Gare de Lyon, so you can't beat the location. Tons of restaurants around, and the train station's got all these cool little shops. Metro and RER are super close, so you're in Paris in no time. The hotel itself? Spotless. Staff's really nice, hook you up with extra towels, soap, a robe in a heartbeat. And they got a pool, which is great for the kids to burn off energy or just chillin' after a long day of sightseeing. I'd totally bring the whole family back here. Oh, the gym's not bad, a little light on equipment if you're a serious lifter, but it gets the job done.

Great location. The Metro is literally just outside and Metro Ligne 1 is the best metro line for getting to the major tourist spots. Lots of great dining options all around. The family had a fabulous time! Staff were very helpful and friendly

I recently stayed at the Novotel Gare de Lyon and it met all my expectations and more. I highly recommend it. I stayed 2 nights with my 13yo son, in a 1 queen bedroom. The staff accommodated us with providing a room that had a sofabed. The pool is a nice warm lappopl, the gym has everything you need, the breakfast is excellent and can fit any tastes and food reduction. Delicious food. There is also a kids game room with a small baby foot and playstation games. The location was great. My son and I picked up scooters and we t everywhere with them. There is a lot of restaurant and nighife around as well as point of interests.the Seine is within a walking distance. Of course not around the corner from the Eiffel tower but we did not mind. We will be back!

Perfect room for a couple and 2 young kids. One of them slept on the sofa (very comfy) and the other in the baby cot (very clean). We had a very peaceful and warm night. We used the pool twice and the area was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Nespresso in the room was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is great with plenty choices for diner and loads of metro option from Gare de Lyon.

Is an ideal hotel for family vacation. My kids is really enjoying to stayed at this hotel. We like the hotel fascilities such as kid’s corner with Xbox and Kinect Games. Gare de Lyon train station is just next to the hotel and 3min walk to the Metro station. Definitely will stay at this hotel again if we visit Paris.

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. All the amenities were as described. The staff were very friendly, assisted during our stay in Paris. The hotel has excellent breakfast and the executive lounge was ideal for families with children. Rooms were very clean, and we had unlimited usage of the minibar (but please check beforehand). The hotel is very close to the Metro station and is the easiest way to travel round Paris. I would definitely come back to this hotel again.

Hotel itself is good. It’s very big and attached to the station. The immediate area surrounding it is not advertised to go out after 8pm (it’s not safe) reception advises you so but it’s obvious. There is security on door. Our room right in front of elevator was a little noisy. The area to anywhere is easily accessible by bus, metro and train (in main station) 10 mins by foot you are in a lovely walking area already. Our room was large and comfortable. Very functional. The lobby area is a big open setting (pool also there). Bar and checkin in the middle. Breakfast restaurant also in this area and there is a children play corner. A few room towels would be good. 1 bottle free water. Breakfast ran out of food by 9 am which we found strange. Breakfast should enforce a clothes policy - some British tourists came in their pajamas (not appropriate ones either). Overall ok for an affordable hotel with easy access links. Lastly pool is great, we mentioned that a toddler had had an accident (poo) and next day it still wasn’t clean which is a shame.

In general hotel was ok and clean , however we got frustrated to have to constantly ask for 4 towels as there was myself , my wife and two kids ,,!!! This happened pretty much for all 4 days ! On the last day we never bothered, on check out I pointed this out to the the girl whose response was house keeping probably don’t know there is 4 people , I’m sorry but this is not acceptable when they should be told there is four guest and We will need four towels , the girl in reception started to defend what clearly was poor service from the hotel , we travel regularly to Paris and don’t think will be staying here or any Novotel again, it’s seems to me as simple as some basic training given to house keeping , it there is four beds then it’s not rocket science to work out there is four guest. The bed also had a broken loose leg , which we told the reception on the first day , this never got sorted until we mentioned again on was done on day 3 , my wife caught her hand on the kids bed which caused it to bleed , person on duty was great , response was good and also gave us some nice gesture gift and free drinks for the bar. (Only reason why I gave the hotel good rating)

Perfect for a short stay with kids especially if you are taking a train at Gare de Lyon which is right next to the Novotel. Staff very helpful. A nice little pool for the children. Frankly for the price I think it is a good deal.
