Super comfortable bed, spacious family room. Gorgeous views for a room picnic watching the olympics

Excellent hotel only 30 mins from the ferry terminal. Evening meal was excellent and breakfast was good for price. Room was well equipped for a family, clean, good mattresses and as an added bonus ours has a great view of the golf course.

I stayed last night with my daughter for one night. I was disappointed that in the junior suite the internet (WIFI) did not work for the duration of the time we were here. Despite several times resorting this to the reception. Furthermore, the coffee machine in the room was broken. On this occasion your hotel did not meet my expectations.

Hotel is set on edge of golf course. Beautiful views from hotel. Room we had was quite large as we were 2 adults and 2 young children. I would not say that this hotel was children friendly. ie there is absolutely no consideration for young kids. No children's menu which results in feeding them chips which came out incinerated. Sent it back and staff returned with really freshly cooked chips in 30 secs. I noticed that the staff tended more to the locals in when dining which was a little upsetting. Adults food was very tasty but be aware. This is a very fine dining restaurant, small portions at top prices. The bathroom was probably the cleanest I have ever seen and I have stayed in top hotels world wide. Oh, no kids TV channels. Luckily took the iPads and used the free wifi. Nice stay spoilt by no air condition. It was a v hot day and I was looking to recoup at the hotel. Only found out that air con was broken in the hotel past few days when I rang reception. I would have preferred to have been told at checkin. Was given a tiny heater with fan option as they had rind out of proper fans. Pointless really. Was flogged off with a £75 Euro coupon to use off peak before 18-Dec-15. No thank you. However Hotels.com did credit me £50 to use at ANY hotel worldwide within 1 year.

Lovely hotel. If you want peace and quiet and a wonderful view this hotel is a great option. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Room was big and very good value for Money. The pillows were not great so if you are used to the standards of big international hotels, maybe bring your own! Dinner was delicious and the price for a hotel was very fair for the quality. Menu very limited for children. Some smaller more family-friendly options would be a good idea.
