Westotel Tours Val de Loire

I stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner were good. We appreciated having the baby chair and the baby bed set up for us prior to our arrival in the room and in the restaurant. It lacks luggage assistance, unlike some other hotels I've stayed at, but there are trolleys you can use. But the biggest issue was the private function - a sort of nightclub party - that went on until 1 AM and disrupted our sleep, much needed when you jave a 5 months old baby. Unfortunately, the staff on duty wasn't apologetic or helpful, simply stating that we should have been warned and that the party was scheduled to last until 1 AM. While the hotel and Expedia willingly provided compensation for the disturbance, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families due to the noise and lack of consideration for guests with young children.

We love this hotel for our overnight stay whilst driving down to the South of France. It’s exceptionally clean, the staff are brilliant and the covered pool is an added bonus to entertain the children.

I had a wonderful weekend stay with my family, I highly Recommend this hotel. The hotel is 8/10, their restaurant is 8.5/10. We loved everything. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities. Overall my family & I had a wonderful experience. Definitely coming back.

Overall the hotel was great. Big and suspicious rooms, friendly staff, plenty of parking within the gated hotel, and the food is pretty good. The swimming pool is closed and heated even during the colder months. The only strange Policy they had was a 40 euro fine for each item of food brought into the hotel...i find that very odd, we were traveling with our toddler and we couldn't bring him food into the hotel, why would any hotel put such a strange and arbitrary rule like that is beyond me.

A very pleasing stay. The hotel was quiet despite being very busy. The children also had fun in the pool. We would have liked a reminder at check-in to make a dinner reservation as we were turned away until 9pm and there was no room service available. It was too late for the children so we had to go out to eat. Otherwise, very friendly and helpful staff.
