I stayed here before starting at the local language school. It is very close by Le CIEL (good to know if you are being picked up by a host family). I found the hotel very clean and well enough equipped. I arrived late, and the restaurant was not open, but there is a McDonald’s just outside. The room was a little small, the bathroom even smaller, but this might be common for France. There is an all-in-one hand/body/hair wash that both I, and my French boyfriend agreed smelled horrible. The bathroom has a "door" that rooks shut. The walls, en general, seemed thin, but I don’t think anyone was staying near us, so it was hard to tell. The room itselfI found to be a good price at €70, but the breakfast at €12 each was definitely not. Self service. Nothing much cooked, a few crepes, some fruit, toppings to put on nothing. The coffee maker was excellent though and with good sized cups. At this point in France I would pay €12 for two decently sized coffees, so I guess it works out. The woman working the front desk was wonder and very helpful. The area itself is very quiet and pretty, nice if you don’t like the business of Brest.

This is an hotel for travelling salesmen/business men who just want somewhere to sleep for the night. We HAD to stay here to be near a meeting point for family. The hotel is on a piece of land surrounded by busy roads and in what appears to be a small industrial estate. There are a few smallish warehouses, a McDonalds , a garage and a supermarket. When we arrived at 3:30, the hotel was locked and in darkness. When checking the website it seemed that on weekends and public holidays one can only check in from 5:30 to midnight. So we waited for two hours. Our room for two people was tiny, hardly any space to walk around the bed and very difficult for two people to pass ! There was only one small space on the floor to open my case and it had to be closed and upright for any one to get into the bathroom. The following morning when I asked the manageress if I could borrow a mug from the breakfast table to make coffee in the room, she said no, I had to use the paper cup supplied in the room. That tells you everything you need to know about this hotel really. On the plus side.... The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean. I would never stay here again unless the only other option was a tent.
