PREMIERE CLASSE BEAUNE

Very pleasant welcome from reception staff even though we arrived late (22:00 before 23:00 reception close). Room was very clean and tidy, if bland (bright white walls everywhere). Beds firm and pillows comfy, and plenty of space on the bunk for our two. Breakfast was plentiful if a basic offer. The major issue was that our family room was positioned right above the entranceway which has a door which bangs VERY loudly. It kept us up and awake until I took the decision to prop the door open with the outside table (as no receptionist to help at that point). That worked until just after 6 in the morning when the first staff arrived and moved the door prop.

The room we got was with a strong cigarette smell. We asked to change and the only she could swap us given we travel with kids was a disabled people room… all evening a group of students on trip was shouting at each other from windows. Impossible to get an iron, they told us to go to ask Campanile near by, Campanile told that Premiere Class took it… Not a good experience overall…
