VALO Hotel & Work Helsinki

A nice and decent hotel. The staff in the reception were great. The server in the restaurant, Ella i think was her name provided an awesome service. super friendly. A solid 15 out of 10 :P. The young man in the terrace bar was a solid 0,no smile, he was rude, unmotivated and no real interest in serving at the bar. the pool description is a bit misleading, its a tiny pool area and a Sauna. The focus was not on pool activities but on more of a upper class rooftop terrace. Not inappropriate for kids but it was obvious not family oriented. The Lounge barmaid/service was friendly, lackluster when it came to internationally recognized types of alcohol. I found it hard to figure out what customer group they were trying to appeal too

This is the best hotel l have been in the Scandinavian, very clean, big rooms, the receptionist easy to communicate, good service. The coffee time nothing to complain, they maybe many hôtel like this, for my own experience, this is the best . My wife and kids enjoy it with nothing to complain about, and the family even wanted to stay longer. The beds are so big and enough space to relax. Etc

We enjoyed our stay at the Valo. The biggest criticism I have is that the family rooms are only suitable for two guests. In fairness to the hotel they do state the rooms are sustainable but the scale is not measurable until all beds are in place. If you are travelling as a family of 3/4 you require 2 separate rooms for comfort.
