We were unexpectedly in Finland due to my sister experiencing a medical emergency and subsequently being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The staff at this hotel were SUPER kind and accommodating to our family; one member of the staff even recognized my brother in law on the street and asked how my sister was doing. The hotel itself was great but the staff were AMAZING! You’re in good hands here.

Check in was not easy at 12:00 midnight with a toddler. There were a lot of drunks in the que as a big group and the reception did not put me as a mother with child in priority for check-in aand I waited for long time and got annoyed by 2 Finnish drunks in lobby while I was waiting for check in.

Nice stay, friendly staff that arranged baby cot for us. Also during brealfast they helped with baby food and were very considerate. Good breakfast, nothing was missing there. Only minus were somewhat stained carpets in the room. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is stylish and chic - yet, staff are friendly and kind. Breakfast is wonderful and I like the green idea of not automatically cleaning/ making up the rooms - that way as a family, you can relax and leave stuff as it is and you need not worry about housekeeping interrupting day breaks. It is a pity the restaurant is quite costly though.

For international guests who arrive in Finland in the morning, you cannot check in until 3 PM local time. The hotel staff locked up our luggage so we could tour the town, but it would have been nicer to be able to get into a room earlier in the day to wash our face and hands. The staff here is exceptional in giving advice and help on how to navigate Helsinki. And, the rooms are spacious so you can bring the whole family into one room.The breakfast buffet provides choices for dietary needs, and it provides enough food so you only have to eat one other meal a day.

Spacious room that was perfect for a 3 member family, could have fit one more person! Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice. Conveniently located near the ferry terminal, short walk away.
