Scandic Grand Marina

We stayed for two nights at the end of our Baltic family vacation. The hotel were friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a suite from our family room, ensured he had a breakfast bag and taxi for our early morning flight, and provided my 10-year-old son with a ticket for a free mocktail during our stay. The sauna was a nice, hot experience; and the breakfast buffet was full of tasty food. The added bonus was the location. Only a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and less than 10 to the main harbour. Highly recommend.

Great location, a bit swamped by touringcar/cruise guests who arrive in big numbers at once. Good breakfast and generally comfortable but the couch bed for the children was very squeaky which could have been better

Me and my family we had an amazing time in this hotel with lovely breakfast buffet and nice staff. Also it's great located with a nice walk to the city center.

Extra bed for child (14 y) was a disaster. It was very narrow and very tough. We had to sleep all together - 3 people in one king size bed. It was not very comfortable ….. Hotel should consider to change them …. Apart from that everything great.

The hotel was relatively easy to find with a little preparation before arriving. It is located on a small island about 10 minutes walk from the main city centre. The check in was quick, efficient and friendly and the room was clean and included tea/coffee making facilities and free wifi that was quick. The room was comfortable and generally quiet, although there was a group of "sports children" there who decided to bang on the bedroom doors one night. The breakfast had plenty of choice and you could stay there a week and have something different for breakfast each morning. The restaurant had limited choice of food for evening meals and we ate here just once but the food was nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Helsinki.
