If you are tired of the clinical interiors of chain hotels, this family-owned business is the place for you. The quirky albeit a little cluttered decor is a mix of different periods from early to late 1900s and no two rooms are alike (I'm told). The hotel is walking distance from the railway station, and down towards the centre, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. I did have some issues with a dusty hairdryer and a broken shower handle, but my feedback was received graciously. I would definitely go back.

Small, cozy, ecletic hotel in a nice mansion in right in the center of Turku, next to a quiet park area. Not much of these in Finland as all hotels start to be big chains or big facilities --- reminds from similar nice small family-run businesses in Central/Southern Europe. Old world style. Eclectic interiors. Better try to the suites, excellent.
