Barefoot Beach Pad

Barefoot is close to town, but just far enough away that you feel like it’s you and the ocean. You can chill on your balcony and watch the ocean for a peaceful evening, or walk downstairs to the bar and lounge area, where the food and conversation with Mary, the bartender, will make you want to stay longer! The owners are amazing, always around and make you feel like you are family.

Names says this property. If you are looking for luxury stay, this is not the spot. This is neighborhood atmosphere with the closest nature and ventures. all staff are very friendly and helpful and the owner is informative and treat you like brother and helps you like his family. do i want to go back there again. Yes I wish I could go back there yesterday.

Over the years Barefoot Beach Pad has gotten better and better- Ben and his wife make everyone feel like family during their stay - and have done an amazing job with all their upgrades

We loved the owners and their interest in making our stay enjoyable. We felt like family by the time that we left. Ben is a great cook and we were sad when we had to leave. They even drove us to our next destination.

Although we booked the room at Barefoot only 1 week before our vacation, we were surprised with a beautiful large room with a balcony (ocean view). Also, the arrival was easy thanks to the organization of a taxi through the hotel. Arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts and got a small city tour so that we knew our way around town. The hotel is run by an incredibly nice family who are very concerned about the well-being of their guests and their staff are also non-stop caring for the guests. They had an answer to every question and helped us with the leisure activities. Unforgettable is the tour specially organized for us to the 27 waterfalls! The food in the hotel was very good and unique! Whether pancakes, fruits, pasta, burgers, fish, panini or chicken: everything is cooked fresh in front of the guests, plus local rum (with coke) at the bar. The hotel is perfect for families, but also for anyone else who just wants to escape the stress of the city. The location outside Cabarete (5 min taxi / 30 min walk) you can decide for yourself, when and how you want to enjoy the bustle of the town. After only a few days we felt at home and after almost 3 weeks we started our return journey. Thank you for an unforgettable time, your uncomplicated way and the many nice conversations.
