Atlantique View Resort & Spa, an Ascend Collection hotel

Got married in Jamaica not at the hotel but spent our honeymoon there. Our stay was awesome. The food was good the drinks were great the staff was very friendly. The hotel is clean and well kept. My only complaint was the beds were hard. They need to get a pillow top or at least matress cover with pillow top. But other thant that was great. Also loved the 14 and over age requirement hate to travel and have little kids spoil it for everyone. Another good reason to pick Breezes. Loved Jamiaca as the native say no problems in Jamaica mon. Would go back if I can.

I traveled alone on this trip and it didn't matter at all once I got there. All the staff and especially the entertainment staff were really nice and included me in any activity going on. Verona and I seemed to be doing every activity together by the end of my stay. Chris, Dwayne and Jason always made sure that there was music playing throughout the day. Kandice is a great dance partner at the disco, lol. I became really close with the entertainment staff, and can't wait to get back there. There were so many great activities going on all day and night, everyday. Everyone was made to feel welcome to participate in anything, and that was nice for me. The Japanese restaurant was amazing. I also found that the buffet had something for everyone, and everything tasted great. I actually liked the fact that there weren't kids around. There are lots of opportunities for day trips and outings. The area is nice and safe.

I would recommend this hotel for the family that has children over 17. In Jamaica drinking is legal at age 18. Plenty of activities for everyone and you don't have to worry about the kids. We found this hotel close to a lot of excursions that we wanted to do, where we didn't have to pay extra for travel time to get to the location. We went on this vacation during the college March vacation, and we did not find any rowdy college kids. I believe they all went to the Negril area. I will go back to Jamaica and to this hotel. I have a 24 year old daughter and an 18 year old son and all of us had a great vacation.
