Hotel Royal

Great location, amazing atmosphere, located very central close to restaurants, stores etc., good service. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

First time in 6 years my wife and I have been away with the kids while visiting Denmark. The hotel itself is really warn, and needs an upgrade, some lovely art in the stairwell mind. We were in a large corner room which on the surface was nice but smelt of sewage and was very loud with a bar directly outside. After complaining we were offered another room over looking the centre courtyard which was quiet but we had 2 single beds so not that romantic. The breakfast was uninspiring, wish we had just got it out somewhere else. All in all really not that great at all and really disappointing considering I’d hoped for a nice experience with my wife. The young guy on reception wasn’t able to give us an upgrade for some reason, I think he did his best though, he offered a bottle of champagne but it was late so we turned it down.

Really nice downtown hotel with history. Awesome service during check-in for Easter with wine for the adults and a big Easter egg for our kid
