Hotel Hoffmeister

Stayed for 3 nights in a junior suite. Very spacious room , great large bathroom all very nice and clean. Staff were very pleasant and polite. Hotel is very convenient for the old town just a ten minute walk over the bridge. Breakfast was fine...all in all a very nice hotel that was very good value for what we paid. Strongly recommend it.

Having never lived in a fancier room than a standard room at a chain hotel, booking a junior suite was a bit nervous for us. We arrived at the hotel and were immediately wisked away to the bar for a drink while they took care of the checking in business. We immediately felt relaxed. Our room was enormous, the bed was huge and we loved everything about it. Its not often you live in a hotel and actually want to hang out in your room, but we did and were happy to come back to it and use the hot tub, drink something from the well equipped mini bar or just lounge in the chairs and plan our next adventure. The breakfast was really neat and felt fresh, it had everything i want in a breakfast and kept me full and caffeinated. We took advantage of the spa and booked a couples treatment which was worth every penny, ive never had a better massage in my life and we really liked the full pampering treatments (i think the girls were called Blanka and Lena?). All in all, we had a great time. The hotel was located close to the metro making it easy to transport ourselves to the airport. Withing walking distance from the rest of the beautiful city yet fairly quiet despite heavily trafficked roads. As a first experience of fancy vacation living it definitely exceeded our expectations, we would highly recommend it to anyone needing a romantic getaway and we will try to visit again in the future!
