Downtown Suites Belohorska

Fantastic studio apartment. Great size and space for the value. Close to transportation. Attached Gelato company that serves breakfast at very low cost. I would recommend this to anyone one who is single or couple. Not enough beds for a family. At least not the one I stayed in. It was an amazing property and easy to access. About 40 min walk to major site seeing attractions or quick tram like 5 min. I would definitely stay here again

Never again would I book a property managed by Downtown Suites. We reserved this one because we needed to be near a hotel where my grandchild would be staying on a school trip. Because of a fragile health condition, we needed to be nearby. A few hours before check in (as I was riding on a train to Prague), the management called to say we could not have the apartment we had booked well in advance. They offered to put us in a place across town. When I explained our need to be in Belohorska, they offered a lower valued apartment. I had booked the executive penthouse. They did not offer to refund the difference in value. Instead, they urged us to take the penthouse in the place across town. They said the two places were just 15 minutes apart. That wasn't true, and our family suffered serious crises as a result. The "penthouse" was spacious but shabby. A soap dispenser fell off the wall the first time I used it. No hot water in the one real shower. The "fireplace" was covered by an ugly sign saying it was for decoration only. Nicks in the counter tops. The kitchen was sparsely furnished: no real coffee maker, no linens or even paper toweling, not so much as a grain of salt and pepper. Maybe you can find better value in one of the lower-end units offered by Downtown Suites. But I won't be back.

Our large family LOVED this hotel. It was conveniently located, right by the tram; a short ride to the Old Town and Prague Castle. At the same time, it wasn't noisy - which we expected to find when we saw the tram run by. Very spacious, well equipped kitchen, and clean. There are places to purchase groceries within a short walking distance, a few restaurants, and cafes. If we go back to Prague, we will definitely stay here again.
