Hotel Praga 1

location is excellent. it is located between the main square and the charles's bridge area so it is very convenient depending which way you are going. about 10 minutes on either direction. my room 404 was clean and very big. breakfast was excellent and decorated very nice, good job to those ladies in the kitchen. there was always some one on the reception and my room was cleaned when i asked. i would return to this hotel again and will recommend it to my friends and family. good job prague 1.

Great location, perfect for families. Easy access to trams. Breakfast was abundant and diverse.

Loved the hotel. Room was big, clean and amenities were great. Breakfast was delicious. My kids loved it.

When we first got there, the person at the reception was not welcoming at all. It felt like we were bothering her right from the moment we went in. When asked about parking, she said there was nothing she could do about it. There wasn’t any parking and we had to figure it out on our own. When I told her I previously contacted the hotel and I was told we could park at one of their sister hotel, she rolled her eyes and made a phone call to arrange parking for us. She wasn’t friendly at all. Other staff members were amazing. Kind, helpful, friendly. The room was spacious. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. They need to be replaced with new mattress. It was two sleepless nights for our family we were so uncomfortable. We travel quite a bit around Europe and these beds were by far the worst we had in the two years. Throughout the hotel there is a very strong moldy smell. We had to keep all windows open in our room even though it was super windy. Shower was small and hard to control the water temperature. My kids struggled to wash themselves as it would be extremely hot or icy cold. Breakfast was good. Nice to have it included. Location is amazing. Walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was very nice. We had two rooms. One for my husband and I and one for our kids. Both rooms were good size rooms. Actually, I would say they were bigger than most European hotel rooms. The breakfast was fine. It would suggest they switch it up a little. Example: instead of having hard boiled eggs every day - change it up with scrambled eggs or over pancakes, french toast, etc. This hotel is close to trams and the subway. Very convenient! I would recommend this hotel.
