Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites

Hotelwas beautiful staff helped us with a lovely room upgrade to a junior suite which was perfect for our anniversary

We stay at several hotels in Cyprus, but Napa Mermaid is our favourite! Great great staff and services, food and bar are really good ! First we booked a sea view standard room, really nice ! The only little thing is that the bathroom is a bit tiny but clean and functional! Then we booked the junior suite and... what a room! Wonderful room with private terrace and sea view, the bathroom is so big, the junior suite is perfect. Everything was really clean, rooms are made everyday. The breakfast is good, lot of choice, salt and sweet with Cyprus specials. The tea area is my favourite with fresh mint, lemon and ginger... The diner buffet is nice, food is tasty and the choice is real. We tried the a la carte food for lunch, salads was really nice and we also had diner at the Elia restaurant, really really tasty ! The pool area is clean and staff great. The hotel is next to the beach (2min walking) The parking is not big but I found a space each time. Live music every night at the Elia bar... Don't know what to add. Just book it !

Our flights were cancelled and there was no availability on flights for 2 weeks. We had booked rooms with free cancellation but we needed to cancel 24 hours before check in. As the flight was cancelled while we were on the plane, we couldn’t cancel the entire stay 24 hours before. We explained the situation to the hotel and asked if we could cancel the remaining days for which would be more than 24 hours in advance and pay for the first night but unfortunately the hotel didn’t agree. After missing a family wedding, being stranded in the airport overnight, this added to a hugely stressful day
