Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Split

Great facilities and very family friendly

We were unfortunately disappointed in our stay at Radisson Blu in Split. Firstly, the outdoor pool and the area surrounding it and the beach club was closed during our stay despite the weather being great, however we understand now it was a few days out of season, however we were keen to sunbathe and there were only around 10-15 beds available outside the spa that we had to discover for ourselves as no one told us that these were available just that the “outdoor pool was closed” which we actually had to find out on our own by trying to get to it. It would have been good for this to have been advertised clearly as we probably would’ve booked elsewhere had we known. By the time we could check into our room the wait was long but understandable as they were busy, however once we checked into our room at around 15:30-16:00, we were checked into a dirty room, the sheets had been used etc. We then had to wait even longer for a new room and the one we were given we weren’t very impressed with for a Radisson Blu Standard and even then, once checked in it wasn’t “clean”, the bins had sanitary products in and the sides and mirror were dirty and the TV had obviously been knocked at some point before we arrived as it was practically hanging off the wall and wonky, not safe if you have young kids! This tainted our experience a lot and not what we expected from this standard of hotel! On the plus side the breakfast was very nice!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. This is the 4th staying there in 2 years. We have our staff favourites - from Mario that handles our luggage with care. Always smiling and so friendly. Then our most favourite part is Mistral Beach Bar and Restaurant. The Manager there Ivan is always so accommodating and attentive. He works hard and treats and trains his staff superbly. Ivana the hostess there is attentive and always smiling. Luca and Vlad who serve us at our pre booked cabana are the best. And Augustin and Andre at the restaurant are the greatest. Shout out to Farhad too. It’s like we are part of the BLU family. The rooms are wonderful, the views are beautiful, the beaches are great, cocktails are great, the food is yummy (best burger at the Mistral restaurant by far). I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Split. Love it there!

The Radisson Blu resort in Split is absolutely brilliant. There were two weddings on during the weekend that we stayed (not that you would know as they didn't impact the guests in anyway) and you can see why. The facilitates were excellent and you couldn’t ask for friendlier staff throughout the hotel! I would recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends/family that wishes to visit Croatia.
