Jacó Laguna Resort and Beach Club

Great place right in the beach. Perfect for families and those on a budget. Rooms are clean and comfortable but nothing fancy.

This is a small family hotel on the beach with a small but well used pool. The beach side restaurant is fine though i tended to use the craft brewery only 100m away.

Slightly out of town at the south end of the beach where the sand is soft and the crowds less, this beautiful beach-front hotel had everything we wanted! The staff were so great, really friendly and helpful, the location really was idyllic (oh the sunsets!), the food was great (the stuffed mackerel with shrimp a must)... so excellent overall. We had two rooms: our group was two kids, two adults, and one senior. We all loved it. Kids were either in the pool or taking us to leap the waves all day. A bit out of town but we preferred the mellow atmosphere. We ate many meals at the hotel, great selection pool-side and in the restaurant and really good quality. Not economical, per se, but so convenient and lunch by the pool is such fun!

The hotel overall was ok but there were some things lacking that most hotels have. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family. The rate was reasonable, however, but some simple basic items were missing!
