Moonlo Hotel

This was a very different experience. My reccommendation the Ducky room for families.

I had the best experience staying here with the family. All the staff have been super helpful. We went to the breakfast quite late and the owner has offered to cook extra dishes just for us. It was raining when we leave and the owner and a staff member walked us to the shuttle bus with an umbrella. On top of the friendly staff, the interior of the hotel is full of characters. Highly recommended to all and we’ll surely be back again.

This hotel is not for a business trip, recommend for family trip

A very unique hotel, the family room is very suitable for vacation travel with children. A family of three or four would be very comfortable in one room. The breakfast was also very good and the waiters were very warm and friendly. I will choose this hotel next time.

Was on a overnight connection at PVG, and booked this hotel. Overall it was a satisfactory stay. Their airport shuttle service was quick and convenient, and the staff there were all very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was beyond expectation, and facilities within and around the hotel were comprehensive. We booked a family suite, and the room was a little smaller than we anticipated, but it didn't bother much. Regardless of the language you speak, the staff would be able to serve you well. Will definitely come back again for next PVG trip.

This is a very elegant and beautiful family run hotel… the room was incredible, everything from the wonderful walk-in shower room to the huge, amazingly comfortable bed and especially the pillows ! The interior design is so unique and heartwarming … it’s exceptional. Finally … the breakfast is unbelievably fresh, with a great variety of dishes and so delicious that I would go back just to eat there !!! And very Impressed with the staff … so kind and polite and helpful. Finally, the shuttle is perfectly on time from and to the airport. I strongly recommend to you this wonderful boutique hotel !!!

What a hidden gem this hotel was. Perfect for our 15 hour stopover in Shanghai. The staff allowed us to check in around 9am, which we were so grateful for. The family room had two huge king beds and the staff were AMAZING. I'm not sure of the name of the young guy at reception who speaks English but he had the best energy and was so kind and helpful and also made sure that we had breakfast which was so yum. Make sure you head to the wonton/noodle/omelette section of the breakfast because it's incredible. I wish we could have stayed another night or two but we had to catch our flight to Sydney. It was a little tricky trying to get the shuttle there so we just caught a cab but the shuttle back to the airport was clean, on time and free! Love this property so much. Thanks for having us.

Having a 16hr transit from Shanghai to Chengdu, i decided to book a nearby hotel and i picked Moonlo, which is about 15 min away. Airport pickup can be quite a challenge as they are not allow to pick you up from Pudong T1 and you have to navigate your own way to T2. Pudong airport is big and arriving at midnight, most of the glass door leading to T2 were closed, you will have to walk to door 4, thru a long linked bridge to reach T2 carpark and the driver will meet you at level 1, H6 pillar. A good 15 min walk with all your luggages, I am glad i finally meet my driver (a very friendly driver i must say) and thereafter, everything im going to say about the hotel is 5stars. The room is clean, very clean actually. Staff all very friendly and nice, you feel like you are being treated like their family. Ms Yang greeted me at the breakfast lounge the next morning and she sure made my noodles extra tasty by adding some very nice seaweed from fujian, some dried tiny prawn and seasoning. I empty up the big bowl. The chef， 阿姨 i call her, made me some very delicious wanton too 现点现做馄饨 . I would say their top notch service make it all worthwhile.
