Chateau Nova Peace River

Like the rooms and beds are incredible. The junior king suites I have stayed in many times are so nice and heating and cooling and desk and furnishings are as nice as anywhere I have ever stayed.

Great clean hotel for a quick overnight family stay. Staff are very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable.

The restaurant was closed when we checked in at 730pm on a Sunday. pretty disappointing as we had 5 kids with us that needed to eat.

We travel through Peace River several times a year and we decided to try the Nova instead of our regular hotel. Travelling with a toddler there are a few things that make travel easier and more enjoyable. This hotel did not offer much more than a bed and a roof over our heads. Our room had an adjoining door which my son quickly discovered was unlocked. I called the front desk and he came right up to lock it for us. The walls are paper thin. We could hear everything in the neighbouring rooms. We definitely got the impression that they put accommodations with small children together. A little baby was crying all hours of the night on one side and a young child was playing and loud quite late. As a mom, I don’t fault anyone for this, however if you’re looking for a quiet night; these rooms will not help. They don’t offer a breakfast included, nor do they have working vending machines. I asked the front desk if there was a working vending machine on another floor and he said maybe try the third floor. I ended up travelling to every floor to discover they were all out of order. In the grand scheme of things there are all small things, but in the end it was disappointing.

Rooms were nice. Seemed fairly new, family ate at Restaurant and enjoyed the meal.
