Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, Autograph Collection

The resort is beautiful and most of the staff excellent. However, a member of my family developed an ear infection and the hotel arranged for a private physician to come over to the island and treat her. We were told that the cost would be 300 dollars US. He asked about allergies, etc ahead of time and brought part of the medicine needed and we were told he would bring the rest the next day when he came over to complete our Covid tests for the return trip. We were NOT told we would be charged another full three hundred dollar fee for the second day. He conveniently only brought part of the medicine needed so he could double charge. The hidden taxes and fees and costs for the whole trip were rediculous and in the end cost triple what they should. We would never do it again.

I was welcomed at the deck, by hotel’stuff. Love the proximity to the Airport and the free boat shuttle service. Close to a beautiful beaches I wish I could explore more. Service absolutely doing a 110 percent This place is on my map to come back with my family

Exceptional service, friendly staff and beautiful facilities! We sailed for a week in the BVI and then concluded our vacation with three days at Scrub Island Resort. Many "locals" that worked in the different restaurants and locations that we visited were rude, and inhospitable! Islander attitude left us thinking that this would be our last trip to the area. Then, we experienced Scrub Island's wonderful and welcoming staff. The restaurants on site were very good, and service was excellent! We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was beautiful. The views and pool made our stay lovely. We have decided to return to BVI and day sail out of the resort's marina in the future. We want to bring family with us and stay in one of their beautiful villas as well.

Scrub Island Resort was a disaster for us. We have never had a worse experience on a trip. In June, we booked 4 days and left due to jack hammering and other noisy construction and terrible service. Scrub Island Resort promised us everything would be completed before November, so we returned in December with clients and friends. Once again they were pounding away at a deck directly outside of our unit, sawing concrete and jack hammering in the morning and throughout the day. None of our groceries were delivered, so we had to eat out every meal. Most of the dishes and silverware was missing from the unit. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The service was unbelievably slow everywhere. Every food order was wrong. At lunch, a worker was urinating in front of our wives and children. Another worker was urinating beside the walkway on the way to the beach. All of the wine was served warm. We were told there was no room service by 3 staff members on the phone until the 4th said there is room service. The beach bar was promised to be a full scale restaurant when we left in June. When we arrived in December, it was nothing but a limited bar. The beach looks like a war zone. The swimming pool water slide surface was exposed concrete and ripped the children's bathing suits and scraped their backs. There were no towels at the pool or beach. The pool restrooms were filthy. The bar tenders have no silver tequilas. The wine list has no years listed. The operators frequently didn't
