Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort

Was not very nice. The service in reception was terrific. I will not refer my family or friends on this Sheraton grand Rio Janeiro. My room had 3 issue and finally fixed. Sorry, but this is not 5 start Hotel.

My family (me, my wife and our 6-year old daughter) stayed 4 nights at the Sheraton Grand Rio and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the hotel. Yes, the location and the property itself are fantastic, but their REAL strength is their SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE. Wow!!! Everyone working there, I mean EVERYONE, is always ready to assist the guests and ALWAYS with a friendly smile and attitude. Incredible! I give them an 11 out of 10!

Great hotel, staff is super friendly and speak different languages. The breakfast is wonderful, lots of options and the staff is always checking if everything is to your liking or if you need anything else. There are seats inside and outside, outside you have an incredible view to the sea. If you are an Member Status allows, there's breakfast at the 26th floor, the view is one of a kind and the service is top notch, you can ask for almost anything, there's even champagne available. The swimming pool is very large and the temperature is controlled, good for kids and adults. There's access to the beach at the pool area with all the amenities included, towels, beach umbrella, chairs, etc.

We had a great week at the Sheraton Leblon in two interconnected rooms for our family. The staff is very good and goes great lengths to help you out with everything. Special mention to Maria, Danilo, and Marcelo at l'etoile breakfasts daily. Kids club and kids pool are really great. Overall great experience, would definitely return.

This is the second year that we stayed at the Sheraton. Its THE place to stay with kids. They have a great kids club (Free of charge) which my children love. It is the only hotel that has beach access.

the hotel itself is perfect, the staff as well. it's on it's own little quiet beach which is exactly what we were looking for as we wanted a quiet stay. it's a very nice sheraton property and if it weren't for the amount of kids running wild and screaming, we would definitely rerurn. the only negative is not the hundreds of kids running wild and screaming all over the property, it's the inconsiderate parents who allow this behaviour. i think sheraton should keep some areas adult only. for example, the club lounge- especially during happy hour or the restaurants after 9pm. there were kids running and screaming through the italian restaurant at 10pm.
