Dolce by Wyndham La Hulpe Brussels

This should have been amazing but was a terrible stay. There was no hot running water. It was not communicated upon arrival. Response from staff was very unprofessional...stating you been unlucky. I informed them shower head mouldy and broken but no action was taken to replace it. Pool during family time was very cold so much so that after 15mins we had to exit as kids were turning cold with blue lips. Sign stated 30.5 degrees pool temperature. When raised with staff they were not surprised and said something was wrong but they cant do anything but will informa manager. Room service food was terrible. Burger dry over cooked, pizza undercooked, staff couldn't adjust the order to required preference as all pre made. For a resort claiming 5 stars they are far from servicing 5 star. Breakfast was chaos, chef was behind refilling food. There was clear chaos in the restaurant team during peak. Location is amazing with stunning woods and perfect to unwind. There is tons to do bit service being low makes you think if its worth the spend. One night stopover on our roadtrip which could have been amazing turned out to be a very unpleasant stay. Far from a 5 star resort claim...you need to improve. Lastly got charged for the night again at checkout as their system doesnt take the info properly from thirdparty. Make sure to check your bill and not pay twice if you prepaid. Luckily spotted before i left.

Not really suitable for a family trip, overpriced restaurants and facilities, our fridge didn't work for 2/3 of our stay and resulted in us losing ~50 Euros worth of food. Staff weren't able to remedy and we needed to chase down a fix numerous times. Great location for business travellers/conference attendees, not really set up for kids and service isn't set up if things don't go to plan

This is NOT a kid friendly place. Quiet remote location. Questionable hospitality. Check-in: Multiple cars got formal parking working while unloading car at reception driver-in area. Parking: Parking lot was remote, poorly marked and shared with subleased office spaces. Facilities: We were informed upon check-in that kids may not use pool after 18:00. At the same time, reception made sizeable effort to sell dinner reservation.

The second time there... this time only 4 stars, because the reception made a mistake with the room and blamed it on me. Very unprofessional!! After a day they wanted me to move into another room... if I please could pack my bags in the next 10 min... with a child, a baby and two dogs... and move to the other room... taking all the luggage by myself... with the two children and the dogs. The reception man was so cool about it, he didn't care to help. But after they discovered it was indeed their mistake,I could stay in the room. It really was annoying,so I can't say anything nice about the hotel now... the usual blah blah.
