This family owned and run hotel is superb. The breakfast is beyond compare. It's like you're a guest in their lovely home, warm,ornate, and elegant.

I saw high reviews for the hotel and was surprised any hotel can have such consistent high reviews and I understand why. The owners and staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to answer any questions and meet customer expectation. We went with kids and it was very safe. The location is great and walkable to key places in Bruges. Highly recommended.

The family that own this former bishop's residence have done an amazing job at decorating to a very high standard. The staff we met were either family members or friends of the family. Breakfast in the old cellar was excellent. The sitting room for tea in the afternoon and drinks at night was beautifully and comfortably done. The only thing I would change would be in the room we booked. The bathroom was spacious, but the bedroom (though beautifully decorated) was a little small. If we're ever back in Bruges, we'll book a larger room instead of their smallest, least expensive room.

A charming hotel located close to all the sights with its quaint streets, very walkable location. Our view was of a centuries-old Gothic cathedral. Run by a family. Only 20 guest rooms. Got great referrals to top restaurants. A low-key, delightful hotel. Highly recommend it.

Friendly welcome from the get go and the room (junior suite) was more than we could have ever asked for. Beautiful bath, great heating at such a cold time of year, cosy bed, everything we needed! Overall 10 out of 10!
