This is the best hostel we’ve stayed in. A massive room giving lots of space for all the family, very close to the Eurostar terminal and fantastic staff. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We booked the family suite for 6 and it was amazing!! Walking up to the hotel from the train station sirens were blaring, there was garbage everywhere and I was dreading what the hotel would be like but it was like stepping into another world! You couldn't hear the street noise at all and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is a maze of cartoon walls, game and movie rooms, a quiet space and the best part, a hot buffet waiting for us on a rainy day! Our suite was HUGE with an awesome private terrace. The Chromecast on the TV was perfect. The kids were able to watch a movie while we were in the other room repacking suitcases and getting ourselves sorted. And last but not least, the beds are so comfortable!! It was the best sleep I've ever had in Europe. I highly recommend this place.

Fun hotel with friendly service - great for families. Buffet service for breakfast and dinner was brilliant.

This hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the Brussels-Midi train station. It is unique hotel with a comic cartoon theme decor. Great for families with kids. We arrived early, but they have luggage storage lockers (~1 euro for 6 hours). Beside the lockers is a nice play room (which includes free arcade style games) and play-cubes/mats for kids to rest or play. Unfortunately the main elevator was not working for the duration we were there; however, there was a mini one that everyone was trying to use. The room was large; we got a room with a queen bed and twin bunk bed. The bathroom was nice/clean and even included a towel dryer (haven’t seen that in a while). Grand Place is about 2 stops on the metro, or ~20 min walk (Lemonnier station is the closest to the hotel). On the third floor they have a microwave and water cooler where you can fill sparkling or still water bottles (provided in the room). The room did not come with a fridge. The neighbourhood was quiet at night. There are a couple of restaurants beside the hotel if you want lunch or dinner. We got breakfast included which was decent; the only suggestion we would have is to perhaps have some alternative meat options (like turkey or chicken) and have them labelled. The rest of the pastries/eggs/fruits/ breads and drinks were really good. Guelly at the reception was amazing and extremely helpful when we asked for help.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean and family friendly. We’re a family of 3 and had a YOOMA for 4 and had plenty of space. My son loved the bunk beds! The full bed was not comfortable as everything sunk inward. The room stayed very dark with blackout curtains but the windows are not soundproof so you can hear street noise and talking outside. We never ate there but the food smelled and looked amazing! The location is very walkable to the Midi train station (~8 min) and Grand Palace (~20 min). There is a bit of construction and a lot of closed store fronts on the walks to both the Palace and train station, so the area may feel somewhat sketchy but we felt safe.

What a GEM! i thought it would be impossible to find a hotel for a family of 4 near the Brussels MIDI train station without booking two rooms, but YOOMA had space. Not just that, our room could sleep 6! it’s walking distance from the terminal. We got in after 9:00/21:00 and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was pretty good. Location also 20min walk from sites like the Grand Place. The hotel is comic book and Smurf themed. So cute! we loved it! Nowhere to park if you have a car though.

This was a fantastic hotel. The staff were very friendly and the aesthetics are brilliant. The kids loved it & so did the adults.

If this hotel was in the centre of Brussels, it would be perfect. Well designed, with plenty of space for a family in the room, and lots of fun touches throughout the hotel, but the location is not great. It will probably be much nicer around there once all the building work is finished. The breakfast was fine, and there is a cinema room, a gaming room and a roof terrace which would be lovely if it’s ever sunny in Brussels! But the main appeal of the hotel is the delightful staff, who were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Great place for families to stay with easy access to the train station and Brussels city. There were a lot of amenities at the hotel, which were great when traveling with kids. And the room was nice and spacious. We all found the beds a bit uncomfortable and there wasn’t enough light in the room. But the service was too notch. I recommend!
