Sonne Bezau

On arrival we were given different appartment that we booked. After communicating our disappointment we were told that you can get your opted appartment after 3 nights (of total 8 nights stay) -- atleast good. Later we learnt that all rooms and appartments are different interms of comfort, size and convinience). Few apartments are about 100 meters far from main hotel complex so for using regular hotel services (breakfast, kids play areas etc) you will have to walk on the street to get. Kitchen is in the apartment but mostly cannot be used as very sensetive smoke alarm is just ontop of the stove. We were warming up bread with butter and the smoke alarm went off. The lady from the front office came to our room without even us answering the door and made faces. Our kids room were just to the upper level of outside eating area. Most nights we can hear very loud people talking till almost 12 midnight. Even after asking the hotel reception no change was done. Breakfast food disappears 30 to 45 minutes before breakfast closure time. Would expect the supplies to be there till breakfast time.

We spent 7 nights with our family of 2 boys in a very nice 2 bedroom apartment from this hotel. The hotel is located in a very pretty and small town Bezau. Very nice, scenic and quite place, perfect place to relax have family activities and sightseeing.

We stayed one night in our way to Innsbruck. We had a nice 2 bedroom apartment a block away from the Hotel. We really enjoyed the breakfast as everything is HOME MADE and DELICIOUS!! We even bought their fruits jam since we loved it so much. Service was very nice and they spoke English. It is about 20 minutes from Bregentz and in the mountains. Nice place to stay if you enjoy mountains biking, or walking or trekking. They also have a room for small children to play. We were there in June, but unfortunately weather was cold.

This was our first visit to Austria and we were overwhelmed by the effort made by all the staff to make our stay memorable. English was spoken and the morning info sheet was also printed in English and German. Parking was easy. Good WiFi. We had a half board deal which was excellent. The breakfast choices were endless with cereals, healthy nuts and fruit. Two huge cheese boards. Cold meats. Fresh bread rolls and eggs whichever way you chose. The evening meal was usually 5 courses with choices of entrees. There is a cable car up to the top of the mountain with endless hiking opportunities. A steam train to ride. Hotel very family friendly. A wonderful place to stay.
