Holiday Inn Vienna City, an IHG Hotel

The staff, we spent Christmas in Vienna and the hotel staff were very much like our extended family! In particular, we had great times and conversations with John, Christian, Gessica, Rene, Paul, and the nice Director without a name tag, that worked Christmas Eve. Thank you for treating our children with amazing kindness as well during our stay!

In reservations I specifically asked to call me if any issues. My sister is a refugee from Ukraine. I paid for the room and called hotel gave them my debit card number to charge for the dinner part. When family were checking out the person was lazy didn’t read the notes. There were notes in place , I verified this morning . I am disappointed that no one attempted to call me from the hotel . The bill was paid with the last cash my sister and her husband had. I am disappointed that this hotel didn’t even try provide customer service! The world is helping refugees but this hotel would not even take my money to pay for food! Instead decided to make them feel unwelcome! I thought Austria is a nice country with kind people, but now I doubt that

Good location. Very spacious family room with two ambients. Clean. Plenty of options to eat. Breakfast buffet is ok but not extraordinary. Friendly staff.
