Myself & 2 kids had a fantastic stay here. Hotel is wonderful, clean & modern. The staff are very friendly & efficient. We did not eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but the buffet breakfast was phenomenally good! But the #1 highlight was the amazing swimming pool - we spent so many hours out there enjoying the ocean views whilst swimming; the kids loved the waterfalls and rocks, and we all loved the spa. Only negatives are there weee no pool towels available one afternoon, whilst the pool bar could do with staying open an extra hour or 2 (especially on weekends). But overall a 10/10 rating. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay that my kids will remember forever.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at The Rendezvous. It is ideally located with easy access to the beach and dining options. The only thing I think could be improved is the deck chairs around the pool, there are more comfortable options than plastic. Also there are no chairs for the balcony to sit outside for a morning coffee or afternoon drink. Perhaps for families who book in they can be removed if considered a climbing hazard. We would recommend the hotel and will return on our next trip to Perth.

The guy who checked us in was lovely. Then when we got to our room it was horrible. I brought my elderly mother here to sit and enjoy the ocean view and they gave us a view of the roof. I asked to be moved. They said they could only give us a room with a view if we down sized from the family room with 2 queen beds to a room with 2 singles. We agreed to this so mum could sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view. No discount in price paid was offered. Took them 2 hours to organise the change of room. I stay here often and this has been very disappointing

Property is in a great location. However children’s ages do not correspond between wotif and hotel children are considered under 12 at hotel but under 17 on wotif so we were charged full breakfast charge for both children. On checkin couldn’t get two rooms close hotel never got request for one room with twin beds waited till 8pm to have a roll away bed put into one room which they then were going to try charge me extra for. Information needs to be shared better with hotels from wotif.

Pool and pool area is cool especially at night perfect for the kids,iv stayed there before and room was the deluxe and was a top notch room but this time having the kids with us chose the “family room” and I was left with a lot to desire with the room.

I have been coming here for 30 years, so know the property well and understand it is older. Was surprised this time that twin beds were literally single beds rather than doubles. Beware if you were thinking of sharing a twin with children. Also, a grown adult should have a double bed- there is enough room for 2! Pool area has had all the umbrellas removed and no additional shade put in. Gardens around pool were dead/ dying and much of the hotel exterior needs painting- needs a bit of $ spent. Having said that, the indoor facilities/ room were spotless, pool was clean and waterfall operational, staff were lovely and the location is amazing. Food markets on Thursday nights through warmer months is fantastic. Would love to see the games in the games room be complimentary.

Stayed for 6 nights. A large family hotel located in central Scarborough, so very close to local restaurants/bars and in walking distance of everything. Generally, the property is somewhat dated in appearance and the rooms need to be refurbished. Our sliding wardrobe doors were broken, and although someone may have looked at the problem, after we discussed with housekeeping, doors were never fixed, so could only use half of the space. Pool surround was scruffy and needed cleaning and insufficient sun protection provided.
