This was an absolutely beautiful and interesting place to stay. The history and story behind it was so fascinating and the owners have kept the character and aura of the place to its truest form. My kids and I absolutely loved staying here and will make this place one to return to many times.

We were welcomed by the lovely owner James and his family. Very secured courtyard for the kids to play and run. Centrally located position with great railway playground just few minutes away. Great history to the accommodation.

This family-run accomodation is for those who want something different, to sleep in a cell! It has a charming and helpful host, excellent community facilities and plenty of history. We slept in a double cell with toilet and had a comfortable night. It is well worth trying but don’t take a lot of luggage with you.

Good experience and something different. The owner James is very nice and accommodate early check-in for Easter. However, no air con fitted even for the family suites. That wasn’t any problem for us (as the weather was not too hot when we were there).
