Was due to arrive on a Saturday, travelled from Brisbane, delayed leaving due to family reasons, they close at 5pm which is highly unusual, called them and advised we would be late. Was advised they close at 5pm the owner recommended we find alternative accommodation, which did. I did ask if they had a key box, they advised that they did not, and offered no other options. Tried calling on mobile straight to message. When back in Yeppoon, dropped around and they do have key box in plain sight, no refund. If staying here do not be late, otherwise look for somewhere else to stay.

We have just enjoyed a one night stay and really enjoyed it. Some others comments about being a little quirky are probably fair, but this is definitely a positive. The area behind the main building is like an oasis, a lovely pool, an aviary and fish tanks with beautiful immaculately kept grounds. We had a family unit with a double and single bed which was exactly what we expected and perfectly adequate. The rooms are very well equipped with great attention to detail, brightly decorated and also immaculately clean. Thomas, the owner was really friendly and very helpful. The only downside is the distance from the centre of town and beach which would be a long walk but this is evident when you book so absolutely no complaints there.

The Coral Inn was spotlessly clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in a hotel/bnb. If you have ever traveled to Germany, you will love the sausage or meatloaf for breakfast, it bought back memories. The entire property was well maintained and it is operated by the family that own it, they have put there heart and sole in it. There is a bbq area if you wish to cook your own meals or plenty of restaurants around. The property is probably more suited if you have a car as it would be a considerable walk to the beach. I did find that the best beaches were about a ten minute drive out of town anyway, no crowds. The only issue I had was the room was on the smallish side.

The room was tiny but the bed was very comfortable. Bit noisy but mainly due to other guests being inconsiderate and rooms being so close. Room cleaning only weekly. External features like pool, bar, bbq all great but I imagine it would be noisy if families or groups were booked in.
