Rydges Fortitude Valley

Excellent choice in Brisbane for families. What a friendly, happy face front desk staff!!! The house keeping team and the front desk staff made our stay very happy and comfortable one. The hotel is very quiet, beds are very comfortable, the room is spacious and very clean. This hotel is close to many restaurants and the parking is very convenient.

Found the meals very expensive especially for children.

Amazing in fact so amazing we booked for another 3 nights and cancelled other hotel(at our cost). Breakfast is outstanding so much choice and healthy options too. Staff are friendly nothing is too much trouble. Pool good with children.

The swimming pool was closed for maintenance while we were there which was upsetting as it was the main reason we booked. Room service finished at 8:30 which is very early (good hotels have 24/7 or at least midnight) and the options were minimal and not child friendly. The room was comfortable and clean but wish it had a bath. Breakfast buffet was a bit gross. The eggs were soggy one day and green the next, mushrooms were swimming in water, bacon and sausages very dry and the machine coffee tasted better than the barista coffee. The staff were all very lovely but could have offered to help me with my bags. Overall I think the hotel has a lot of potential but a lot of improvements can be made.
