Comfortable property, long wait for check in. Pool area could be maintained better and more lounge chairs provided. Longer food eatery hours, not everyonr wants burgers or pizza. Glamping tents are comfortable and the shared facilities are very clean and well laid out. Do require your own crockery and cutlery if using the cooking facilities. Nice family environment.

The food was very disappointing , the menu was terrible, no steak, no chicken schnitzel, only chicken option had whisky sauce, with no other sauce available, pizzas were bland, barramundi was ok but floating in butter. Menu options were really bad, but you have nowhere else to eat. The breakfast was good, great options and the poached eggs were the best iv had. Some live music of an evening would have made it much better. We won’t stay there again, but it was nice for little kids and family’s I think. Overall nice place but the food killed it for us.

Cooinda Lodge is a beautiful property close to the Cultural centre and the yellow water cruises. A great place for families with the pool and play area, and a small walk to the billabong. Friendly, kind staff and I would definitely come back here if I travelled back to this area. The only downfall, there is nowhere to eat other than the lodge restaurant which can become expensive.

Our stay at cooinda lodge was not what I thought it would be. To check in took a awful long time, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, however friendly. For $400 a night the rooms are tiny, no options for two bedroom no cabins if you would like a kitchen and more space. The food was over priced and not that nice. For breakfast bacon is boiled which is horrible and sausages appear to be cooked in oven. For dinner we waited so long then went to the counter to find out they didnt put our order through, then they came out with wrong meal and no kids meal instead a large chicken breast covered in pepper gravey which i knew my daughter would not eat, and our pork ribs were extremely dry. The morning staff were friendly and cheerful which was nice and the pool was nice. However bathrooms were dirty with a bad odor. We enjoyed every about kakadu its a magicsl place however, I wont stay here again not for how much we spent.
