It was convenient to visit our family. Accommodation was modern, clean and household items in the unit were reasonably good.

Stayed for a few days as a nice get away just me and the wife without the kids. Upon arrival the reception staff was not friendly or very helpful. We get to the room which is nice enough but only half illuminated because one of the two room lights were blown. There’s a nice view from the balcony though. The air conditioning unit would shut off and beep every few minutes and we couldn’t drown it out with other noise from the tv/ foxtel system because it didn’t work. Being able to sleep in till 7 was really good but would have been better if the curtains fully blocked out the light. There is a few small maintenance problems with the building itself which all put together makes it a disappointing experience for a Mantra. There is heaps to do in around the building which would have made us want to return but everything put together makes it too much of a negative experience.

Good options for a family stay and close to beach and shops. Good pool area. Frustrating to ask for extra towels and toilet paper but both were provided immediately and with a smile.

Only stayed for 2 nights due to family commitment and found the place underwhelming, nothing inspires a return. Consistently it seemed to be major chore for staff to deal with clients checking in and out (I get people being tired but this was more than that). Was not given details about free Wi-Fi (which was part of the deal) and when attempting to connect the onsite options immediately direct you to pay for Wi-Fi choices, not the free option as part of deal. The onsite web page for further information does is poor - if you search for Wi-Fi it takes you to a list of 20 odd items and it is not obvious you need to flick through them to get to the one you searched for. Location is great but so are the majority of hotels oin the region. Would only stay here again if no other option.

On arrival the room had a yucky musky mould smell which was over powering and gave us headaches. Room didn’t have simple additions like a doona, only a flat sheet and an additional blanket which we found in the cupboard which was still not enough for us. We didn’t have a chux or any washing or laundry liquid and then when we asked if they could bring some up they said no we have to go get it ourselves (we have 2 babies and we’re staying in the back tower furthest from the reception). Then upon discharge we asked if they could bring a luggage carriage up to us and they said no get it yourself….. probably the worst service we’ve had at a hotel especially for the price and we stay in them regularly. Wouldn’t return. Only bonus is location and having everything on site! Orient restaurant was amazing, we had a lovely dinner.

Good location, close to beaches and shops, indoor and outdoor pools were great. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast at Signatures was top class, food was delicious with cold and hot selections. Staff were all friendly and welcoming especially Miriam. Mini putt was a family favourite.
