The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

Vacations with kids is always a challenge because you are constantly thinking, of what you need, what to eat, what to do to keep the kids entertained. The Ritz thought of everything. Whether it was debris in the pool, ways to make the kids feel welcomed and excited, water activities for al ages, sunscreen. Finally a vacation where us as parents, could let someone else do the thinking and the Ritz thought of every detail and its hard to put a price on that.

My family and I enjoyed our vacation in Aruba. The property was awesome as well as the amenities and staff.

My daughter & I went to celebrate her graduation for a mother daughter trip, & it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived on the property we were treated like royalty! The hotel staff is phenomenal! They go above & beyond for their guests, & everyone is truly so kind! From the superior cleanliness to the fantastic food to the breathtaking views this hotel has it ALL! Aruba is absolutely beautiful, with the nicest people- and staying at The Ritz Carlton made it all that much more enjoyable & memorable for us. We can’t wait to go back again with the rest of our family in November!

Everything here was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond and treat you like family. Special shout out to Harold at the pool that made our special event more amazing!

Not only are kids/families a problem here; so are the staff that want to chit chat quite loudly!

Inconvenient hotel. The hallways make no sense, you walk for half a mile before you can get out of the building. The beach is terrible. It’s 3 feet deep and doesn’t get deeper as it is walled off. The area around Ritz is manicured to only accommodate families with kids. Don’t fall for “adult only” pool. There were kids everywhere, loud. Would recommend if you have young kids, if not, terrible hotel to stay in.

Our stay at the Ritz in Aruba was phenomenal. We appreciated that it was slightly more removed from the hustle & bustle of the downtown shops, but also easy to walk to everywhere we wished to go. We appreciated having our room on the main level of the hotel as it was easy to come and go without having to rely on elevators - and with active kids between the ages of 8-11 that was key. Plus, the sushi restaurant in the lobby was exceptional. Level of service terrific throughout, appreciated the space given on the beach and everyone was extremely friendly. Many thanks to all at the Ritz Aruba. We will be back!

The Ritz is beautiful and the staff was great ! Only the exclusivity was not there !we were looking to spend a couples vacation away from the noise and craziness of the world only to be surrounded by a million kids and teenagers that were there with there families… they were so numerous that they took over all the common areas of the hotel , the beach chairs the tables at the the lobby , pool restaurant etc… apparently this group comes every third week of January and stays for 11 days … I believe the hotel should make an effort to let the guests that are not part of this massive group to be aware of the experience they are signing up for … we could have moved our plans a week later !
