The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

Everything here was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond and treat you like family. Special shout out to Harold at the pool that made our special event more amazing!

Not only are kids/families a problem here; so are the staff that want to chit chat quite loudly!

Inconvenient hotel. The hallways make no sense, you walk for half a mile before you can get out of the building. The beach is terrible. It’s 3 feet deep and doesn’t get deeper as it is walled off. The area around Ritz is manicured to only accommodate families with kids. Don’t fall for “adult only” pool. There were kids everywhere, loud. Would recommend if you have young kids, if not, terrible hotel to stay in.

Our stay at the Ritz in Aruba was phenomenal. We appreciated that it was slightly more removed from the hustle & bustle of the downtown shops, but also easy to walk to everywhere we wished to go. We appreciated having our room on the main level of the hotel as it was easy to come and go without having to rely on elevators - and with active kids between the ages of 8-11 that was key. Plus, the sushi restaurant in the lobby was exceptional. Level of service terrific throughout, appreciated the space given on the beach and everyone was extremely friendly. Many thanks to all at the Ritz Aruba. We will be back!

The Ritz is beautiful and the staff was great ! Only the exclusivity was not there !we were looking to spend a couples vacation away from the noise and craziness of the world only to be surrounded by a million kids and teenagers that were there with there families… they were so numerous that they took over all the common areas of the hotel , the beach chairs the tables at the the lobby , pool restaurant etc… apparently this group comes every third week of January and stays for 11 days … I believe the hotel should make an effort to let the guests that are not part of this massive group to be aware of the experience they are signing up for … we could have moved our plans a week later !

Our stay at the Ritz was remarkable. From the moment you walk in your offer water or champagne. They have a little coloring station to keep your little ones busy and of course my youngest son Cristian kept busy there while we checked in. The service level is outstanding, from Timothy and Cristian at the front desk to Jose at the drink station, to the housekeeping staff that keeps your rooms spotless. I’m so happy with our stay, I can’t imagine booking our stay with anyone else in our future visits to Aruba.

Our stay was great, staff is always accommodating. I will def be back. family friendly and alot of activities available for all.

The Ritz as you would expect is priced like an exclusive Beach resort, but in fact the experience is that of a mass market mid range hotel chain. It caters for corporate events, which are its priority. There were two there during our family stay in peak season. With only 2 small pools, one reserved for adults, our daughter had no pool to use on two afternoons because it was closed for set up of corporate events. With two restaurants, overstretched, The food choices were limited and the food itself was mediocre at best. The beach was busy and somewhat crowded, and often no room Beach chairs available. Not what you would expect for the price point. Www I'll never consider a return visit.
